2013 ALL-USA New Mexico Baseball Team

The 2013 American Family Insurance ALL-USA New Mexico Baseball Team has been announced.

Volcano Vista, senior
Infield/Pitcher
Set the state record with 36 career home runs. Batted over .500 this year with six long balls and 24 RBI. Went 5-1 with a 1.70 ERA on the mound.

Caleb Prentiss
Carlsbad, junior
Pitcher
Already committed to the University of New Mexico, he won 10 games and struck out over 80 batters.

Keenan Dodd
Hope Christian, junior
Infield/Pitcher
Batted over .400 and had 10 homers with 45 RBI at the plate and had a 6-1 record on the mound for the 3A state champions.

Regan Ramos
Cobre, senior
Infield
Speedster got on base over 60 percent of the time, hit nine home runs with 45 RBI and a .598 batting average.

Danny Collier
Sandia, senior
Outfield
Great defensive motor and the bat and speed to boot, be hit .515 with 39 runs, 24 RBI and 17 steals.

Carson Schneider
Sandia, senior
Pitcher
Headed to pitch at New Mexico after a strong senior year where he won 10 games with a 1.92 ERA and 64 strike outs.

David Gunther
Sandia, senior
Infield
Slap hitter batted .483 with an over .500 on-base percentage, scored 29 runs and had 22 RBI.

Cody Bower
St. Pius, senior
Infield
Led team on a stunning run in the state tournament to win the 4A state championship.

Jerel Stevens
Rio Grande, senior
Infield/Pitcher
Power-hitter and power-thrower, he blasted five home runs to lead the team.

Connor Calvery
LaCueva
Outfield
Proved to be a reliable defender in the field and an explosive hitter with the bat in his breakout season.
